Overview:

Diamond Packaging has once again been selected to produce the holiday packaging for L’Oreal USA / Matrix Essentials’ line of hair care products. Found on display at many fine hair salons nationwide, the annual promotion is a proven success and highlights the value of creativity and shelf appeal.

Marketing Goals:

L’Oreal USA / Matrix Essentials, a leader in the professional hair care products industry, sought to create an exciting and breathtaking holiday program that maximizes Matrix presence across multiple brands in the salons. Targeting females, 25-55, the holiday promotion is perfect for Matrix users looking for holiday gifts or “self gifting”.

Solution:

Matrix launched the holiday gift sets for four of their popular lines (Biolage™, Amplify™, Sleek.look™, and Logics®) in stunning holographic packaging with brand-identified colors. The creative cartons deliver impact at salons, and help assert a fun, fashion-forward image for the company.

All cartons feature a new .022 holographic foil board and diamond-shaped die cuts, along with transparent PMS inks and UV coating to further enhance the graphics. Two hits of white (three on large type) helped distinguish the text which is set against the colorful backgrounds. The result is a carton that is visually appealing and significantly different from anything else on the market.
