The unique structure is fashioned after the dome-shaped cake, contributing to its shelf appeal. The practical tear-open perforation can be easily opened and resealed. Also, the one-piece folding carton enables fully automatic packaging.
The graphics were designed on Godiva's exclusive gold foilboard to leverage their distinguished brand identity. In a departure from their traditional packaging, however, copper foil was stamped over the foilboard to lend a distinctive appearance to the package. Also, an intricate embossing pattern was applied to the copper foil stamped area to further accentuate the graphics.
The attractive graphics were printed directly on N-flute material, providing an economical yet sturdy packaging alternative.
Eastman Outdoors
Eastman Outdoors, a leading manufacturer of outdoor leisure products, complements their line by offering premium marinades and seasonings. DCM receives cure, seasoning blends, printed instructions and other components such as sausage casings from Eastman Outdoors, coordinates the various components, and packages "Do-It-Yourself" kits to make jerky and sausage for wild game, beef, and other meats. The finished cure kits are then packed into their in-store displays and shipped to retail centers in compliance with their packaging specifications.
Godiva Holiday Collection
All of the cartons in the Godiva Holiday Collection incorporate a similar graphic design to that used in the Nouveau Gift Box insert card, including the eye-catching rainbow pattern and blue metallic ink.
The unique snowflake (flower top) closure Café Godiva carton and Cocoa Chocolat gift mug carton maintain this theme, but with even more visual interest and appeal than ever before.
Godiva Nouveau Gift Box
Diamond developed a unique simplex tray lid that functionally and stylistically surpasses previous designs. The simplex tray lid incorporates an intricate snowflake die cut that instantly conveys the spirit of the holiday season. A stippled embossing pattern applied to the .018 paperboard, along with dark blue hot foil stamping, adds to this extraordinary presentation.
Utilizing a paperboard lid allows for more design flexibility, not possible with a standard set up box lid. For instance, the intricate die cut pattern and the depth of the embossing pattern can only be achieved through the use of paperboard. In addition, the lid was designed with smaller fold-over (perforated) panels, allowing the insert card to sit 1/8" below the lid, creating a 'shadow' effect.
The combination of a simplex tray lid and set up box base provides unlimited graphic possibilities, while staying within the parameters of the customary filling and shipping procedures. Furthermore, the package maintains the exact same footprint as their other designs, simplifying exhibition in Godiva display cases, racks and end caps.
Diamond Contract Manufacturing (DCM) provided contract packaging services, including assembly, packing, and shipping. Adhering to the narrow timeline of the project, DCM produced a total of nearly 220,000 boxes in just 3 days!
Godiva Truffles
The graphics feature Godiva's familiar hot foil stamped logo, leveraging their distinguished brand identity. As an alternative to their traditional gold foilboard packaging, a beautiful combination of custom colors lends an elegant appearance to the package, as distinctive as the product inside. UV matte coating was applied to to further accentuate the two-toned graphics.
The structural design of the seal end carton incorporates a curved top panel, suggestive of the shape of the truffle itself. The overlapping top panel is closed with a label seal, which is designed to resemble special gift wrapping.
Diamond Contract Manufacturing (DCM) provided contract packaging services, including repacking and shrink wrapping. Adhering to the narrow timeline of the project, DCM repacked nearly 20,000 cases in just two days.

Toad Ally Snax
The sturdy .024 foilboard provides rigidity during shipping and handling, especially important considering the delicate product within. The attractive flower top closure not only adds distinction to the package but was designed with pre-break scores to make the carton easier to fill.
A silver metallic foilboard was chosen as it instantly conveys an upscale appearance to consumers. Gold stain was then overprinted to give it the look of gold foilboard, but as a more cost-effective option.
