Klöckner-Pentaplast (APET, PVC)
- Leading producer of films for packaging, printing & specialty applications
- Fully integrated production processes allow control of all film attributes and complete traceability
- PVC now considered one of the more eco-friendly polymers, partially due to the amount of energy and fossil fuels (less than 50%) used to produce it
- APET manufactured with 25% PCR (bottle scrap) – meets CA packaging guidelines
Crawford Industries (PP)
- Leading manufacturer of polypropylene (PP), a polyolefin which can be made thinner and lighter than equivalent paper packaging
- PP is biodegradable and naturally breaks down into carbon and hydrogen
- PP requires fewer natural resources to produce than other plastics products
- PP generates few waste products in production and disposal
